FOCUS Magazine & Photo Art Gallery is a place to appreciate, be inspired by, and share photographic art in Second Life. Primarily, we are a monthly magazine that celebrates photography in SL. Each issue features 2 prominent SL photographers and art activists, as well as reviews of stores, music venues, shopping events, and art galleries throughout SL.

 

We have three photo art galleries as a result of the magazine. Our main Focus Gallery usually houses our magazine's featured artist of the month. Our Focus "Artist in Residence" Gallery exhibits up-and-coming artists. Lastly, the Exploratorium Gallery displays photographers who we consider masters of their craft. All of our exhibits rotate monthly. We have a gallery opening event every month when the issue is published.

 

We also have a monthly photo contest, and a thriving, active community of over 1500 group members, 4k Flickr members, a print-run of over 15,000 with an average of 4,500 residents who pick up our magazine at kiosks around SL each month. JOIN US OUR ART COMMUNITY IN SL!
